Themed doors
Vicaima has supplied a selection of doors to a small but exclusive new development in Cambridge, built by Camstead.
“We have used Vicaima doors on previous developments and they’ve been very popular with our purchasers. We also felt these particular designs were right for the ‘Arts and Crafts’ theme that is a predominant element in the style of these houses,” said Moira Scott, sales and marketing manager for Camstead.
The three detached, individually designed, five-bedroom homes are fitted with oak veneer doors from Vicaima’s Exclusive range. To create an elegant contrast to the attractive vertical oak veneer, the doors feature a decorative marquetry that represents the very best in contemporary design and is in keeping with the emphasis on superior craftsmanship that Camstead wanted to achieve.
Vicaima also supplied a number of full glazed doors fitted with Pilkington glass panels in an oak veneer surround. Furthermore, most of the doors have FD30 classification and will provide 30 minutes protection in the event of a fire. All the doors were supplied through the Huntingdon branch of Travis Perkins builders’ merchants.
