NEW TECHNICAL RESOURCE TEAM AT BUSINESS MICROS

Software specialist Business Micros has responded to the growth in market demand by creating a new Technical Resource team to help support both new and existing customers.

Led by Operations Manager Jude Knowles, the eight strong team is made up of technical support and installation experts from the company’s support centre in Penpont, Dumfriesshire and its sales and installation centre in Newton Le Willows.

The strategy behind the move is to share the technical expertise across the team and provide a faster and more responsive service to customers.

Graeme Bailey, Managing Director at Business Micros, explains: “As the fenestration market improves, we are getting more and more enquiries from customers for new software installations, additional modules, upgrades and data changes, and we want to make sure that we can respond effectively and efficiently to all of them.

“Whereas previously customers tended to deal with just one Business Micros contact who was skilled in a particular area, now we will be cross skilling all the members of the team so that they can each manage any kind of enquiry. Increasingly, we’ll also be sending two or even three technicians out to install new software for customers so that the service we provide is even quicker.

“There are five administrative staff supporting the new Technical Resource team as well, and they’ll be ensuring that the resources of the team are directed as effectively as possible to deliver consistently great service.”
