EXHIBITING AT UK PASSIVHAUS CONFERENCE

REHAU will be at this year’s UK Passivhaus conference in Stevenage on 16 October demonstrating its high performing PVC-U and composite window and curtain walling solutions.

This will include the Passivhaus certified REHAU GENEO® window system and both the REHAU Nordic Design Plus window system and REHAU Polytec 50S curtain walling system which can meet Passivhaus specifications.

REHAU GENEO® and REHAU Nordic Design Plus are both manufactured using the innovative RAU-FIPRO® fibre composite material which offers higher stability, torsional stiffness and static properties than PVC-U. This means windows and doors can be fabricated without the need for additional steel reinforcement, eliminating the thermal breaks which impact on overall thermal performance.

REHAU Polytec 50S is a stylish composite solution which combines a PVC exterior with a steel core to replicate the slim sightlines of aluminium curtain walling but with significantly better efficiency. Using REHAU Polytec 50S, Uf-values as low as 0.88 W/m2K to be achieved.

Kevin O’Neill and Steve Tonkiss from REHAU’s commercial sales team will be at the event to provide information and advice on using REHAU’s solutions in low carbon and Passivhaus developments.

As well as showing samples of REHAU’s products, they will be detailing successful case studies in residential and commercial applications, including the installation of REHAU GENEO® windows for Interserve in what was the first new build commercial office development to be Passivhaus certified in the UK.
