30th October 2018

Polyframe has announced the appointment of Richard Lee, formerly MD of its Halifax facility, to the newly created role of PVCu category director covering the whole of its PVCu facility including its other sites at Livingston, Norwich and Stonehouse.

The company, part of the Customade Group, says Richard will steer a strategic plan to achieve greater consistencies across the whole PVCu.

He will spearhead a number of new developments across all processes which includes quoting, ordering, delivery and after sales care.

Richard said: “It means I have the opportunity to make a real difference to our customers at every stage of their journey with us. Our goal is to make their experience of working with Polyframe as seamless as possible and our new strategy is all about continually improving to help them successfully grow their PVCu business with the right partner behind them.”

Polyframe has recently increased the headcount of fabricators at its two largest sites, in Halifax and Norwich, by 25%. The business has also made investments in infrastructure and equipment to further align all four production sites.

David Leng, group chief executive, added: “Richard is an industry stalwart and he has a wealth of experience in PVCu. His drive, passion and expertise will add significant value to the business, both in terms of the quality and consistency we deliver to our customers and also in our ambition to improve all our processes in line with world class techniques.”

Phil Gray, who joins from the Epwin Group, now takes Richard’s former role as managing director of Polyframe Halifax.
