Unsung Hero: Jude Knowles, Business Micros

Jude Knowles, Operations Manager at BUSINESS MICROS, was named the Unsung Hero at the G-Awards, in recognition of her ‘remarkable ability to organise, support and motivate everyone she works with.’

Jude’s team handles 1200 increasingly complex software and IT related calls per month and, during the company’s busiest ever yea,r when it has broken sales records virtually every month, she has remained the reassuring voice of calm, approaching every new challenge with an upbeat attitude and real positivity.

Jude was nominated by Managing Director Graeme Bailey, who said: “She has been an integral part of Business Micros for 16 years and her enthusiasm and commitment have never wavered. This award is the perfect recognition for all that she does so quietly and effectively behind the scenes without ever seeking out glory or recognition for herself.”

As well as her trophy, which now has pride of place in Business Micros’ office in Dumfriesshire, Jude was rewarded with a prize of lunch for two at London’s Savoy restaurant.
