Training boost

EUROCELL has opened a new learning and development centre at its Alfreton headquarters, to enable it to provide regular practical training and classroom-based support to its fabricator and installer customers.

The purpose built unit includes a Demonstration Zone with custom built rigs for dedicated installation training across the full Eurocell product range.

The new centre supports the Eurocell Select Approved Installer Scheme which is backed by Fensa, Certass & Assure competent person schemes The company says that sessions will also be available at 14 regional hubs across the UK to ensure the training is accessible for all customers.

CEO Mark Kelly said: “Continuous improvement is a concept that applies to training as well as every aspect of the Eurocell business. As a fast-growing company that is constantly evolving and innovating, it’s very important to provide our customers with the right training to help support their business.”

Fensa director of membership Chris Beedel added: “Industry led initiatives which champion continuous improvement in knowledge and understanding within the fenestration industry are always welcome.  This in turn helps installers to develop their business and build industry confidence among homeowners.”

The new facility will also allow Eurocell to increase the amount of training  offered to internal teams, and includes a fully fitted out mock branch to support teams with sales and merchandising training.
