PRESS GLASS saved 562 tons of natural resources in all its plants last year as well as reducing greenhouse gas emission by 103 tons with initiatives such as recycling plastics, steel, paper and wood, according to calculations made by independent verifying unit Interseroh.
“For over 10 years now our production has been complying with theglobal environmental protection system ISO 14001,” said Anna Drabczyk, the manufacturer’s OHS, fire safety and environmental specialist.
“The fact that we have also joined the ‘resources SAVED’ programme intended to protect natural resources by recycling is testimony to our activities dedicated tenvironmental protection."
The company says it has saved a total of 753 tons of natural resources and reduce emission of greenhouse gases by 139 tons within the programme so far.
