‘Ultra-matt’ UK launch

VEKA has turned to the global group’s own in-house technology to create Spectral, an ultra-matt foil system said to be the closest visual match to aluminium on the market.

Launching Spectral at the FIT Show following a high-profile teaser campaign, the company says the finish will be available on for colourways on the chamfered variants of both its Veka M70 and Halo System 10 systems.

The finish was developed and is now made in Veka’s dedicated foil manufacturing plant at international HQ in Germany. It was launched to the German market last year and is now now brought to the UK following its take-up there.

Veka UK marketing director Dawn Stockell told The Glazine at the show: “We have seen the growth of matt finish here in the UK but with Spectral we have something that really stands above the rest.

“Its look is quite unique and everyone who has seen it on the stand has been blown away by it.
