Deceuninck has reported growth of 18% in the first half of 2015 despite European PVC costs reaching a record high, and cites the UK as one of the group’s strongest performers, largely due to new product releases.
CEO Tom Debusschere said of the results: “Deceuninck is on track. Our strategy of launching ground-breaking innovative products to the market helps us win new customers and new projects. The launching of a unique ‘slide and swing’ patio door and a fully reversible window boosted sales in the UK.
Deceuninck UK Managing Director Roy Frost added: “In a year where the General Election caused a lot of disruption to our industry, Deceuninck has continued to grow in the UK. “Despite four price increases since March from upstream PVC raw material producers, we’ve continued to invest in developing market-leading products and a benchmark service that helps our customers, and their customers, stand out and sell in a highly competitive market.”
