BSW salutes Capt Tom and the NHS

Tamworth-based Bradley Scott Windows upstaged even its own showroom display when it created its own tribute to NHS fundraising centenarian Capt Tom Moore.

The Veka installer commissioned the 17-foot mural in front of the premises to mark the 100th birthday of the Second World War veteran, who has raised more than £29m for the NHS by walking laps of his garden, and the showroom itself is decorated with pictures of the Captain and NHS workers by local schoolchildren.

“We always try to do something to reflect whatever’s going on in the world,” MD Andy Farrington told The Glazine today, “And it seemed right to mark what this amazing man has done.

“It’s not the first mural we’ve displayed. We had one recently to mark the Queen’s 90th Birthday.
