Shut-down extended
28th April 2020
LINIAR AND AVANTEK MACHINERY have extended their original shut-down and are now working towards reopening on Thursday May 7.
The company said in a statement: “If we can return on 7th May, we will be working hard to do everything we can over the Bank Holiday weekend in order to make our first deliveries to customers on Monday 11th May.
“Where appropriate, our senior operational managers have been working to provide urgently needed Liniar products to customers operating in key sectors such as hospitals and care homes. We have also utilised our 3D printer and ordered an injection moulding tool to produce thousands of protective face visors for key workers, together with running a raffle to encourage donations to our amazing NHS.
“Over the next few weeks, we will continue these activities, alongside planning for a safe return to Liniar House. We will be putting clear and controlled social distancing and hygiene measures in place in all areas, as protecting our staff remains our primary concern.”
