BUSINESS MICROS and its recent acquisition THE CONSULTANCY are set to launch Touch, a new software engine, with its debut product Touch Portal, due to be unveiled soon.

Managing director Graeme Bailey said: “We have been talking to customers about these plans for many months and now we are about to launch something which we believe is truly game-changing. Our teams have been working hard behind the scenes throughout the enforced lockdown period and I can confirm that touch based products will be ready to launch almost as soon as these restrictions are lifted.

“The first product, Touch Portal, is aimed at trade fabricators and will give them the opportunity to transform the way that they price and process orders and interact with customers, using a new, continually updated data platform hosted by Business Micros alongside an exciting new portal interface created by The Consultancy.

Touch Portal is expected to launch at the beginning of June, with the website going live shortly to give fabricators the chance to preview the system for themselves ahead of that date.
