Keeping lead times down
Hardware supplier Avocet Hardware is offering next day delivery to all its customers to help them minimise the amount of hardware they need to hold in stock. Ordering products when they need them, and having them delivered next day also allows window fabricators to offer shorter, more competitive lead times to their customers. Avocet’s next day service is available within the UK on any order received daily up to 4:30pm Monday-Thursday and 3:30pm Friday.
There are many advantages to the service. For example, if a customer places a special order which requires different hardware, the fabricator can keep the lead time to a minimum.
