Sales boost

Veka has created two new roles within its sales operation and welcomes Nathan Barr and Jason Wootton to the team.

Nathan is just one of many individuals joining Veka from Bowater Building Products, following its acquisition by the Burnley-based profile manufacturer earlier this year.

Nathan’s appointment into a senior role demonstrates Veka’s commitment to retaining the skills of the Bowater staff wherever possible. Nathan will act as regional sales manager for the North and explained: “Veka and Bowater have always shared a common ethos of hard work and outstanding customer service. I'm looking forward to working with fabricators and our sales support teams in the North, continuing to provide the quality service both companies are renowned for.”

Jason Wootton will take on the job of sales manager for the South and brings many years of industry experience to the role. “I'm delighted to be working for Veka in its 25th year of manufacturing in the UK. It makes a sales job much simpler when you have such a quality product, and its reputation speaks for itself.”

As well as managing the Veka and Bowater sales teams, Nathan and Jason will also be responsible for commercial and technical support, along with business development.
