Freshened up

A detached Grade II listed property in Salford has had 20 of its windows renovated.
 
Mr and Mrs Costello could not open the windows in their property and so called in Ventrolla Lancashire to renovate and overhaul them. They loved the look of the windows but needed them to be fully operational in order to be able to open them in the summer months while retaining heat in the winter.
 
Mrs Costello said: “We have a lovely little balcony but we couldn’t open the doors or windows to make use of it. The windows are now really smooth to open and close and it is lovely to make use of the additional space. All of the windows have also stopped rattling, which used to be very annoying!
 
“Ventrolla were fantastic and worked really efficiently. The workers were very professional and they ensured everywhere was left immaculate after they left.”
 
The sash window specialists renovated the windows firstly by getting them fully operational and then by installing the Ventrolla Perimeter Sealing System (VPSS), which improves the energy efficiency of the windows by sealing up the gaps around to eradicate draughts and rattles.
