cordclamNew Mighton Sash Access SystemTM for hard to reach windows

Mighton Products has produced a Sash Access SystemTM so windows can be maintained from inside the building, eliminating the need for scaffolding when painting and renovating. The Sash Access System consists of three products. The two-piece parting bead has anti-friction runners and a separate carrier. The carrier is secured into the parting bead groove and the top section snaps securely into place, allowing access to the top sash when it is removed. Cordclam™, the two part cord retainer, allows the sash cord to be easily adjusted during installation. The cord grip can be removed from the housing allowing the sash to be detached from the frame. Finally, the screw-less Boston HingeTM allows the staff bead to be swung out of position to give easy access to the bottom sash.

Mike Derham, Managing Director of Mighton Products, explains: “Sash windows are often installed in large, prestigious properties where it is difficult to reach windows not on ground floor level. The thought of needing to use costly, inconvenient scaffolding for painting and renovating can put people off having timber windows installed. But window frames and sashes are now easily accessible with Mighton’s new Sash Access System.”
