Newport business IDM DOORS is the latest fabricator to sign up with Eurocell, switching from its original supplier because it wanted a ‘long term’ supplier that could simultaneously deliver brand, range, quality, service and business support.

Managing director Ian Pritchard added: “We also liked the support that Eurocell offers in supplying new leads in new building and social housing. “Some 80% of our business is social housing, which has to have Secured by Design certification, so that was another important factor. And we also supply a lot of composite doors and this profile is compatible with them, when many profiles aren’t”.

IDM has grown from being a two-man operation to now employing 20 full-time staff – 14 in the factory while six install doors and windows – and fabricating 300 Frames per Week (fpw) plus 40 composite doors from its 5,000 ft2 premises.
