Dale Joinery acquired

The Performance Timber Products Group, has acquired the order book and intellectual property of Dale Joinery (Lichfield), from its administrator Leonard Curtis.

The Performance Timber Products Group is the parent company of The Performance Window Group (PWG), which encompasses the window brands of Mumford & Wood and Timberwindows.com.

The company, which will now trade as Dale Windows, will commence trading with an immediate order book and a strong inventory of live quotations and enquiries.

Dale Joinery serves medium sized house builders, housing associations and builders’ merchants.  “These will be complementary routes to market compared with the activities of the existing companies in the Group,” said Mark de Rozarieux, managing director, Dale Windows.  “As with so many businesses in the building supplies sector, Dale Joinery suffered during the downturn in the market, and difficult credit facilities severely affected their finances which led into administration.”

A new sales team is currently being formed to establish immediate contact with the existing customer base.  Sourced through the group’s existing supply channels, the product range on offer will provide customers with an upgraded alternative to those purchased from Dale Joinery (Lichfield) as the Company will adopt the Group’s policy of using engineered timber procured from a sustainable source.

The new company will operate from premises adjacent to Mumford & Wood’s manufacturing location in Tiptree, Essex.
