SWISSPACER has been awarded the ‘Passive House Innovation Award’ at the Passive House Institute Darmstadt’s International Passive House Conference, in Gaobeidian, China, for its Swisspacer Triple warm edge spacer bar.
“In the past few years, there has been encouraging progress in the thermal quality of windows,” said Dr. Benjamin Krick, Managing Director of the Passive House Institute. “Thermally efficient windows perform well in terms of life cycle costs, CO2 savings and energy balance and are therefore also of interest from an economic perspective. The aim of the new 'Passive House Innovation Award' is to create a platform that gives particularly forward-thinking products and ideas more attention and added momentum”.
Peter Appel, Sales & Marketing Director Overseas and Head of Development New Territories at Swisspacer, pictured accepting the award, replied: “It is a great honour and privilege for us to be the first to receive this prestigious award. It motivates us to continue to develop new solutions that have the ability to progress our industry and benefit society as a whole.”
