Relaunch for ‘mobilegeddon’

Internet lead supplier LEADS2TRADE has prepared for Google ‘mobilegeddon’ with a major overhaul of its website to ensure members of its Trusted Local Suppliers scheme remain unaffected.
Last month, the search engine updated its mobile search algorithm to favour websites which are optimised for mobile use. Those not deemed mobile-friendly may be dropped down the search results for important search terms, which dramatically reduces the number of visitors to a site.
Leads2trade Director Andy Royle said: “50% of all Google searches are now done via a mobile device. Amongst other reasons, sites with text too small to read on a mobile, links too close together, or content wider than a mobile screen will see themselves fall down the mobile search results.
“We’ve re-launched the Leads 2 Trade website in a mobile-friendly version to avoid being affected following the changes and to improve the user experience when people land on the site looking for more information on a mobile device.
