Visiting media saw for themselves this week how Morley Glass & Glazing has doubled manufacturing capacity as a result of investing £700,000 in a second IGU production line.
MD and founder Ian short told guests the company, with the Uni-Blind brand now has around 80% of the UK market for the ScreenLine integral blind system and the new line will enable it to meet that demand with the ability to 3,000 sealed units with integral blinds per week.
The company, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, had moved into its fourth premises, a 53,000sq ft factory in Leeds in 2016 with one 58-metre long Best Makina automated sealed unit production line.
Now, with the company achieving 30% year-on-year growth, Ian says they were impressed with the line enough to buy a second to work alongside it.
The MD showed guests the manufacture of its range integral blinds in double and triple glazed units, including manual, solar and motorised versions.
