Clowns, mime artists, strongmen and even bearded and tattooed ladies helped make GM Fundraising’s 20th gala dinner the biggest ever, raising a record £66,814.76 for the charity with the theme Circus Beserkus.
Gary Morton, founder of GM Fundraising explains: “This year’s Gala Dinner was the 20th one we’ve delivered and they just seem go from strength to strength. Everybody really throws themselves into the theme with some really fantastic outfits and a great time is had by all who attend.
Of course, it’s not just about us all having a great time – we’re there to raise much needed funds for Hope House Children’s Hospice, and yet again, this wonderful industry of ours, didn’t fail to disappoint.
“Every penny we raise goes directly to Hope House, who provide vital care and support to children with life limiting illnesses and their families. At GM Fundraising, we will continue to do everything we can in order to support the great work they do. After hitting the £1m milestone of total funds raised in 2014, we’ve now set ourselves a target to go on and hit the £2m marker by 2020 and thanks to Circus Beserkus, we’re off to a great start.”
The next event held by GM Fundraising is the GMF Golf Day at Telford Hotel Golf & Spa Resort taking place on 5th July.
