TGO at TSI

The Glazing Ombudsman will be exhibiting at the Trading Standards Institute’s (TSI) annual conference in Manchester Central on26th-28th June 2012.

The conference attracts trading standards professionals from across the UK. Government representatives such as Norman Lamb, Minister for Employment Relations and Consumer and Postal Affairs, and Ian Murray, Shadow Minister for Employment Relations and Consumer and Postal Affairs will be among the speakers presenting at the event.

Christopher Hamer, the Ombudsman commented ‘The TSI conference provides a regular opportunity for the primary consumer protection organisations to come together to share knowledge and discuss industry and consumer initiatives. The Property Ombudsman, alongside other established ombudsmen such as the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Legal Ombudsman, have attended the conference for a number of years. Whilst this will be the first time that TGO has had a presence, I expect this to develop over the years to come’.

The Glazing Ombudsman will utilise the opportunity to interface and network with trading standards professionals, leaders and decision makers from local and central government, business and consumer organisations to introduce and promote its Ombudsman service.
