Selecta welcome back a familiar face

Selecta Systems, has welcomed back a familiar face to its sales team by appointing Steve Deeming.

Steve was previously employed by Selecta but left the company in the year 2000 to go off to pastures new. He re-joins as National Accounts Manager for Selecta Specialist Doors; a job role which will see him promoting the benefits of Selecta’s composite and bi-folding doors to fabricators and installers.

Altogether Steve has over 30 years’ experience in the window industry, having worked in a number of roles selling aluminium and PVC-u windows, as well as conservatory roofs and profile.

He comments: “It’s great to be back at Selecta; it’s amazing how time flies and Selecta has clearly evolved with the passing years. There is strong consumer demand for high-quality niche products at the moment, and Selecta’s range of composite and bi-folding doors can help installers and fabricators tackle this pocket of growth, in what is an otherwise uncompromising market.”

Steve has also been impressed by the visible development that has taken place at the profile extruder, with the company entering new markets and investing wisely.

“It’s really impressive - Selecta is most certainly a one stop-shop for the fabricator – offering a complete range of products from patio and bi-folding doors to composites and solar panels.

“Walking back around the factory and offices, it is also clear that Selecta has invested heavily in product development, machinery and marketing in order to keep offering the best service for their customers.”

For Selecta’s Sales Director Mark Richmond, Steve’s return will give the team a welcome boost: “Steve brings a wealth of experience and knowledge and I believe these qualities will be hugely beneficial. He knows the market inside out and we’re delighted to welcome him back.”
