A New Round from Force 8

Force 8’s sales director, Rick Ford has taken up the challenge of playing 18 holes of golf at three different courses in Scotland, Wales and England in one day. Rick, who is this years captain of his local golf club in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, and seven fellow members are travelling up to Lockerbie in Scotland, then down to Mold in North Wales, and finally finishing at their home course in Alderely. The attempt will take place on Friday 29th June; all proceeds will be going to the Captains charity, which this year is the East Cheshire Hospice in Macclesfield.

“It’s a challenge that has never been done before and we are hoping to raise as much as possible, Force 8, Veka, Regalead and Distinction Doors are already sponsoring us,” comments Rick.

The weary golfers will be welcomed back at Alderly Edge club by a reception and a BBQ for anybody wishing to support the event. “We are hoping as many customers and industry colleagues as possible will help sponsor us”.

Rick and his team have already raised 3K for the charity, with a golf day, which was held on 8th June, and teams from Force 8, Distinction, Regalead and Veka braved the elements to help out. The day was rounded off with a dinner and presentation in the evening.
