New FS frame for door range
26th April 2016

SLIDERS UK has added the fully sculptured Veka composite door framing system to its Ultimate Collection composite door range. Developed by the systems house to match its fully sculptured window system, the Veka composite door frame delivers a triple seal, giving the doors good weather resistance. The 70mm steel reinforced profile has also been designed to be integrated with side panels and van lights in a single construct frame, providing increased strength and performance.

Steve Mines, Sales Director, Sliders UK said: “We offer one of the industry’s most comprehensive door ranges and as a door specialist, work with a number of the UK’s leading systems houses. Veka has a huge market presence in the UK we believe being able to offer Veka installers access to Veka-framed composite door system alongside orders for inline sliding and bi-folding doors in aluminium and PVC-U, allows us to bring a high level of flexibility to the market.”

Built around the 44mm Nan Ya slab, with its highly insulated polyurethane core and through-coloured GRP facings, the Ultimate Composite Door Range also includes slim low line Part M compliant aluminium threshold and PAS24:2012.

This includes the Ingenious Duplex 5 composite door lock, the Winkaus Trulock and AV2 self-locking variant; and the Winkhaus Heritage lock.

An enhanced security option uses Fullex Kinetica TS007 3 Star Kitemarked cylinder system to deliver an SBD/PAS24:2012 option. Handles and door furniture are Fab & Fix.

Part Q and Part M compliant it also delivers top U-values of up to 0.94W/m2k and an indicative DSER rating of A+13 .
