Second paint line

APEER has launched a second paint line to increase capacity and give extra contingency cover.

“The added capacity means we can accommodate spikes in orders and be well prepared for growing demand,” said continuous improvement manager Andrew Bagwell, “But it is also an added reassurance that our turnaround time remains unaffected in the unlikely event of downtime on one machine.

“Homeowners are making more and more use of all our colour options and this is another major step towards helping installers deliver their choices as quickly and efficiently as possible.”

The two lines can work separately or in sequence, so a two-colour door can be completed with a single pass, needing only the same drying time as single colour.
