A ‘Grand Budapest’ event

The Conservatory Outlet network ventured into Europe as a group for the first time, celebrating another twelve months for the network and the individual achievements of each retail partner at Budapest 2016.

The network was represented in the capital of Hungary by over 70 individuals attending from the majority of the 24 Conservatory Outlet partnering companies, including owners and directors, wives/husbands and partners.

Guests were looked after over the course of the weekend by the Corinthia Hotel, commonly understood to be part of the inspiration for the Wes Anderson film ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’.

Saturday allowed for exploration of the city, with many venturing down to the River Danube for sightseeing before the main event on Saturday evening. Gathered under the chandeliers of the Festetics Palace, Budapest, guests were applauded for their efforts in travelling to the foreign city, before representatives from several retail partners were invited up to receive awards. The night progressed into a disco, which, in Conservatory Outlet style, marked a true celebration of the network and another successful year.

Conservatory Outlet Joint Managing Director, Greg Kane said: “This year we set out to up the ante and really show our appreciation for our retail partners. The annual Conservatory Outlet event is designed to celebrate all of the network members, and we are extremely lucky to be able to bring all of our customers together like this to share ideas and experiences.

“Even though it was the biggest event the Conservatory Outlet team have ever planned, it is our retail partners who must be thanked for their continued support over the year as well as taking the time out of their busy schedules to celebrate with us as a team.”
