‘Very healthy’ year for family firm
25th October 2016
Stockport based Kömmerling fabricator ALEXANDER WINDOWS has recorded end of year trading figures of £5million turnover with sales up 5% on last year. Associate Director Lauren Tutton says that the family run business is benefiting from growth across both its retail and trade divisions, with sales of Guardian Warm Roofs and Rock Door composite doors particularly strong.
She said: “We’re starting to see green shoots in the industry after a few difficult years for everybody. Consumer demand is holding up and our trade customers are busier than ever, so we’re not yet seeing any negative impact from ‘Brexit’.
“Clearly we don’t know exactly what the long-term impact will be, but I’m confident going forward. The feeling is that our economy is becoming more robust and productive, and we're focusing very much on the positive.”
