Six-chamber sash offered to network
25th August 2015

Conservatory Outlet has unveiled its third generation of PVC-U windows, available to members of its Network at no extra cost.

Using a six-chambered profile for the sash, in combination with a five-chambered outer frame, the company’s third generation PVC-U windows will achieve an A+ energy rating with a u-value of 1.3 W/m2k when fitted with a standard 28mm double glazing.

Directors at the company say the sustained improvement of its core products, and the development of new, innovative solutions are equally important in order to maintain a strong competitive edge in the market place.

Joint Managing Director Michael Giscombe said: “There’s no doubt new product launches are more exciting than the incremental improvements to existing lines, but we are constantly exploring ways to augment our high volume ranges. By adopting a six-chambered sash and using it in conjunction with a five-chambered outer frame we’ve delivered a significantly improved core product, with added marketability, at no extra cost. It’s a win-win situation, where our retail partners can take advantage of an added selling point to promote their window range to the end consumer, while the latter is benefitting from the latest PVC-u innovations.”

Conservatory Outlet’s own range of aluminium bi-fold doors has also been the subject of development so that an array of two-part, brushed steel handles with a separate escutcheon plate can be specified by homeowners who want to add to the contemporary feel of a bi-fold door.
