A recent school renovation in Cambridgeshire enabled FRAMEXPRESS to provide a specific match to replace original 60mm frames, showing there is still significant demand for such a size.
The company still offers the FC60 mm suite from Profile 22 Systems, which made the ideal option for this particular project. After evaluating the installation, frameXpress manufactured all casement windows using the 60 mm system, to replicate the original style of the building, which matched the brief and provided an authentic reproduction.
The frameXpress portfolio offers customers the option of using this profile as an alternative, slimmer frame for windows and doors. This multi-chamber product provides substantial strength and effective insulation against the elements.
Manufactured with a 24mm or 28mm double glazed unit as standard, this slimmer profile helps conserve energy and stops excessive heat loss. Triple glazed units are also available incorporating a 36mm glass unit to provide greater thermal efficiency and excellent sound insulation; all of which are available in 19 coloured foils and wood effect finishes
Sales Manager Ian Davis said: “There is still a great demand for 60mm window and door frames in both the commercial and domestic sectors. It is clear that our customers want breadth of choice at every level and therefore, as a company, it is essential that we accommodate that requirement. Top quality customer support services where technical understanding and aesthetic matching make a real difference today are essential and this is a vital part of this company’s success.”
