Shepley’s rated

Shepley Windows has secured the accreditations necessary for its customers to be able to offer BFRC A-C rated windows.

Even though Shepley provides unglazed frames, it has achieved the necessary quality management audit to allow its customers to sell energy rated windows. End consumers will also have the benefit of being provided with BFRC/WER certificates – an essential asset when selling a home.

Ian Meadowcroft, sales director at Shepley Windows, said: “Demand for BFRC A-C rated windows is increasing all the time so we felt it was important to make sure that our customers were well-placed to be able to join the scheme and maximise the sales opportunities which it offers.

“We are giving installers all the help and support they need to achieve whichever ratings they choose on our Visage frames in Rehau S706 and Rehau Edge profile. For some customers this is the highest A rating, while for others it is the C rating which allows them to use the Energy Saving Recommended logo.”

Shepley already holds the BS7412/BS7950 Kitemark and ISO9001 quality assurance certification on its range of windows and doors.
