Hardware switch
Trade fabricator Lancashire PVC-U Trade Frames has switched to Siegenia-Aubi-KFV-KFV Trident window hardware.
The Bolton-based Spectus fabricator, produces over 1,500 frames a week. Faced with ever increasing costs across the board, Lancashire PVC-U Trade Frames was looking for ways to reduce production time while maintaining product quality. The firm chose Trident as the answer.
The Trident hardware uses a hook and cam combination previously only used in door locks to deliver high performance window hardware.
Using Trident has enabled Lancashire Trade Frames to make a number of savings, including a reduction in production time and improved stock holding, without comprising its commitment to offer a high security product to their customers. This in turn has enabled the company to maintain their competitive pricing structure.
Jason Hollings, operations director, said: “As a trade supplier in a highly competitive and demanding marketplace our customers are extremely important to us. We must ensure our windows offer the optimum combination of great aesthetics, ease of installation, reliability and, of course, security.
“Increasing costs have made it difficult to maintain our competitive pricing structure without compromising on quality. Introducing Trident has enabled us to make great savings while continuing to offer a high security product that our customers love.”
