Warranty extended

3D Laminates has extended the warranty on its CoolSkin technology for panel and composite doors from ten years to 12, following further product testing with long-term product partners Hornschuch and Veka.

Mark Lofthouse, managing director of 3D Laminates said: “The 12-year warranty on our unique CoolSkin gives great confidence for our trade partners and consumers. It’s a product with unique technical capabilities thanks to tight trading agreements with Hornschuch and Veka.

“We’ve already seen a number of major product failures with other inferior door skins and the ramifications for installation companies and door manufacturers are considerable, as product liabilities could have the potential to escalate considerably. CoolSkin is ultimately a guarantee of lasting, failure free performance for panel and composite door skins.”
