Hardware manufacturer P C HENDERSON has unveiled its new, improved Evolve range for internal automated straight sliding doors for residential and light commercial applications.

Evolve uses the company’s Soltaire product paired with a quieter operating motor. It can be soffit or face fixed and has a number of safety features such as obstacle detection and a low voltage operation. The doors also work as standard sliding doors in the event of a power failure.

The system is suppled in a variety of kits for wooden and glass doors weighing up to 80kg. Options include straight sliding and bi-parting models with simultaneous action and are supplied with two wall mounted ‘push and go’ control panels as standard. A selection of sensors and remote controls are available as optional extras.
