A sleeker letterplate
24th March 2015

The new Doormaster letterplate from UAP is said to have a sleeker appearance and includes a number of unique features.

Available in 12” (300mm) and 10” (250mm) sizes, it has been designed to fit 20mm-40mm uPVC doors and 40-80mm composite and wooden doors, while an enclosed, rounded flap set against a shallower frame gives a less intrusive but sleeker feel to the door.

Unlike its Framemaster predecessor, it has a central sleeve enabling its use at waist-height on midrails and can easily replace any existing letterplate without the need to re-jig CNC machines.

Like all UAP letterplates, it can open to 180degrees so will not be damaged by lifting too far. Also uniquely, all have brushes outward facing on the exterior flap to minimise damage to mail.

An internal water seal prevents water from getting into the door. Blind bolts to the exterior of the letterplate prevent the outer frame from becoming unscrewed from the door externally.
