Kömmerling’s strong growth in the UK continues, as Sherwood Windows celebrate their first anniversary of manufacturing the C70 Gold® and PremiLine patio door systems from the premium German brand.

All the more impressive is the fact that the Nottinghamshire based fabricator was with their previous supplier for 22 years, before making the change to Kömmerling. Sherwood Windows primarily sell externally beaded windows in the retail market and feel that this window style gives the appearance of slimmer sightlines in a more traditional manner likened to timber widows, something that is readily achievable with the variants within the C70 Gold® system.

Sherwood have also been successful over the last 12 months with the addition of new colours from stock to their Kömmerling product offering, including anthracite grey, cream and Chartwell Green, with all profiles extruded with the exclusive Greenline lead-free compound. Where there’s a demand from customers the company also offer an internally beaded option, but it’s the externally beaded sash that is of most interest to the company.
