Starting with a bang......
24th June 2014

Climatec Window’s 21st year in business took off with a bang with the launch of their new Calibre Window and Door profile systems in January. However the decision to exhibit at this year’s Fit Show proved to be the perfect platform to showcase this product, as well as showing the industry the high quality fabrication that Climatec are proud of.

There was a great response to the new Cailbre system with high levels of interest. It was the first time any fabricator has shown this product and by having two casement windows, a tilt and turn and a residential door on the stand, Climatec were able to show the various options and colours available for this system.

Climatec also showcased their Rehau Total70 Secured By Design French doors, along with the high security hardware and glass units that enables them to achieve their SBD accreditation. There was also a TV presentation showing the testing processes that Climatec’s products undergo before they achieve their Enhanced Security status.

To show off their fabrication skills further Climatec exhibited an imitation timber effect window, utilising the Rehau Total 70 chamfered and sculptured profile mechanically jointed, in a white woodgrain finish. Monkey tail handles and a dummy stay were used to complete the overall look of the window.

Climatec’s Jayne Lovett says “As a first time exhibitor at the Fit Show, Climatec’s Sales & Marketing team have lived, breathed and dreamt about the perfect exhibition stand to showcase our company and its products. We primarily wanted to use the show to launch the new Calibre system which we believe is perfect for today’s market, however we also had the opportunity to show the personality of Climatec Windows and how our working processes have helped build our success over the last 21 years. We pride ourselves in offering our customers a variety of products that will help them win business; they bring their designs to us to achieve, rather than us defining to them. We provide bespoke solutions that other fabricators may not be able to offer. It was a hard week’s work for Climatec, but a very worthwhile week!”

These sentiments were mirrored by Climatec’s Director Phil Bates “I wasn’t sure what to expect from Climatec’s first exhibition, but I was very quickly put at ease on the first day when the stand became busy with potential buyers and even sellers. On the second day we were run off our feet with visitors. This show was a success for all areas of Climatec and if we knew it was going to be that busy I would have taken a bigger stand with more staff! I am sure there were visitors that came to us but could not be seen. Overall I was very pleased with the response from our existing customers and potential new customers; more so the hard work all our staff put in to make it a first successful show and certainly not our last.”
