24th June 2014
AluK (GB) manufacturer of aluminium building systems, has expanded its Product Management team with the appointment of two new managers.
David Cuddihy will be helping to drive and expand the AluK Home brand in the residential sector, and specify market requirements for current and future product offering.
James Wilson will be responsible for product introduction and portfolio maintenance, focussing on developing the commercial offering in terms of product service and marketing.
Both bring a wealth of expertise to their roles, which will be key to AluK as the company extends its product ranges.
David Cuddihy worked at Catnic, a Tata Steel Enterprise, as a Product Manager; in his role he oversaw product planning and execution throughout its lifecycle, while working closely with engineering, sales and support teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals were met. David then joined Santia Consulting Limited, a health, safety and environmental risk management consultancy, as a Marketing Campaign Manager, developing, managing, and evaluating integrated marketing plans and campaigns for assigned product areas.
James Wilson has returned from Germany where he was employed at SCHOTT AG as Head of Product Management for the architectural glass division. In his role he was also responsible for technical innovation. James Wilson adds: “One of the main reasons for joining AluK was the continued growth and expansion of the business; the company is poised to shake up the market on both local and an international basis and I am looking forward to being part of a company that will help shape industry expectations for the future.”
