Tile roof manufacturer SUPALITE has invested around £400K in a new machining centre at its headquarters in Preston, which is expected to double its production capacity at their factory to more than 200 roofs per week as well as enabling it to offer part-fabricated roofs
Managing director Dave Watters said: “This new level of capacity will allow us to hit our orders and provide what our customers want quicker as demand increases for our roofs.”
“In less than a decade, SupaLite has grown into the UK’s leading replacement roof solution, trusted by fabricators and installers and recognised by consumers. To achieve this, we regularly invest in our production capabilities, and this latest investment enables us to further demonstrate our commitment to staying ahead of the competition.”
The company is also looking at further investment later this year on ply cutting and insulation cutting which will give SupaLite a state-of-the-art production facility.
