Fuel efficient fleet

VEKA RECYCLING has begun 2017 with a new fleet of fuel-efficient Volvo FH4 and MAN TGL 10.08 trucks.

“The vehicles are vital to the service we provide our window fabrication customers who depend on our reliable and regular collections. Better fuel economy and reliable engineering keep our vehicle fleet meeting the highest standards, and they look great too!” said Shane Lloyd, VEKA Recycling Transport Coordinator.

“Linked to new Hireco 4.5m trailers with rear steer axles and de-mountable Manitou forklifts our Volvo fleet help us provide exceptional customer service. We can load ourselves at site, which frees the customers’ forklifts to carry on with their daily business.”

Commercial Director, Simon Scholes added: “The new livery really stands out on the road. “We are very proud that in addition we have our first Veka Compounds truck on the road to help deliver our quality finished pellet and pulver to a busy extrusion market”
