Schueco at Ecobuild
24th January 2012

Schueco UK, the lead sponsor of Ecobuild 2012, has major stands (N2940 and S310) in both halls.

In addition to its solar energy products, Schueco is showing examples of its aluminium and steel systems, some of which are new to the UK.

Solar-enabled systems on show include two aluminium facade systems incorporating Schueco ProSol TF+ thin-film PV technology, together with a ProSol-enabled brise soleil. Schueco's unique ERC 50 Renovation Façade is being shown for the first time in the UK, as is the Janisol Arte insulated steel renovation window from Schueco Jansen. The latter recently won a Gold Design Award at France’s leading building exhibition, Batimat 2011.

Also on show are: a heavily insulated door and facade that meet PassivHaus standards; and Schueco ASS 77 PD.NI, the first in a new range of 'panoramic' motorised sliding doors. Able to accommodate very large openings (up to 3.5m high by 3.2m wide), these doors have minimal profile face widths of the central meeting stiles and outer frames that are completely concealed in the building structure on all four sides to give maximum light transparency.

The solar products on display include: roof-mounted thermal collectors and PV modules from the company’s Premium and Compact Line systems; an array of Schueco TF+ thin-film PV modules installed on Schueco’s East/West flat-roof mounting system; current pump-stations and controllers together with a newly introduced controller and pump; roof anchors and under-construction; a range of inverters; and a Sunalyzer Web PR data logger.

There is also a working e-bike illustrating the diverse ways in which solar power may be used.
