Fire order

Mann McGowan recently received its first order for Palusol SW fire resisting boards from the United Arab Emirates.

The SW board system is used for manufacturing both flat and raised and fielded panelled fire resisting doors.

The product was launched in the UK almost three years ago and has sales have grown steadily in that time. However it was first shown in the Middle East at the Big 5 Exhibition in Dubai in November 2010

“We decided to dedicate our exhibition stand to this innovative product after consultation with our product partner BASF SE,” a company representative said.

“A great deal of interest was shown by many companies within the region and we have been sampling and quoting a number of contacts since the show. We are delighted that the first order has materialised.”

Mann McGowan has also secured a large order from China for its Pyrostrip 100P high performance intumescent material. It has been actively exporting our products to many parts of the globe in excess of 20 years.
