Dream donation
24th January 2012
Local Berkshire based charity Daisy’s Dream, which provides support and counselling to children who have been bereaved, has received a £500 boost from Rehau.
Jackie Devine, internal sales administrator at the company, which is based in Langley, selected Daisy’s Dream as its nominated Christmas charity this year and donated the money which would normally have been spent on sending Christmas gifts to customers.
Gareth Jones, general sales manager of the Rehau Slough office, said: “It was really satisfying to be able to support such a worthwhile local cause – particularly at Christmas when children who have lost a loved one need support more than ever.”
Daisy’s Dream offers counselling to children and families across Berkshire who have been affected by life threatening illness or bereavement. The charity has to raise a minimum of £300,000 each year in order to operate.
