German glass scanning manufacturer, Viprotron, has recently appointed The Glass Machinery Company as sole UK distributor for its range of products.

The new appointment took effect at the beginning of January 2012. Viprotron interates scanning products in glass processing lines. The company is associated with some of the leading glass machinery providers globally having installed various types of scanning equipment across the world.

Scanner technology has found its way into many modern processing facilities today. Viprotron already has a vast number of quality scanners in operation in the insulation glass industry. The use of these devices has provided a quality system that gives visual guidelines during production, and helped to achieve viable cost savings and a great reduction in customer complaints.
