Good impression

One couple from Newbury were so impressed with the thermal results achieved by the TuffX Aqua Green tint in their new conservatory that they decided to have a modern glass roofed storm porch also installed on the front of their property.

Mr and Mrs James had been extremely disappointed with the conservatory they had originally installed as they had hoped it would provide additional living space, but they were unable to use it on a regular basis, due to the dramatic fluctuations in temperature.

During the summer the old polycarbonate roofed conservatory had been unbearably hot despite opening all the windows and doors and having bought fans to try to cool down the temperature. And in winter, the icy feel to the room never improved without using expensive, additional heating systems.

Mr James said: “Clearly a lot of care goes into the installation work and the team were so helpful. It is the best investment we have made on our property in years and I truly wish we had invested in a new glass roofed conservatory many years ago. As we had been considering having a storm porch built it made perfect sense to strike while the iron was hot and have the two projects completed at the same time. Our new conservatory is now a joy to use and the porch adds to the overall look of the front of our property.”
