Ikonic switch
Birmingham based systems company Ikon Aluminium has switched to the LogiKal software from Business Micros (Aluminium).
The company said it is looking to establish itself among the leading players in the aluminium sector, and has chosen the software which it believes is essential in order to achieve that.
Ikon’s sales and marketing manager Adrian Campbell, said: “We reviewed all of the design and manufacturing software options available in the UK and judged LogiKal to be not only the most popular solution but, more importantly, also the best.
“It is accurate, efficient and very user friendly with a straightforward interface which eliminates the risk of user error.
“It is being used by some of the biggest names in the UK aluminium systems market whom we are benchmarking ourselves against, and we believe it will become an essential element in our planned expansion.”
Previously, Ikon had used its own bespoke software for design and manufacturing of its range of windows, doors, curtain walling and shop fronts but opted to switch to LogiKal in order to improve the service it provides to its customers.
