Float Glass Industries (FGI) has appointed Angela Cann–Sagoe to help implement its ‘no obligation’ unbiased advice to the many glass buyers still unsure which glass option represents the best method of satisfying their Window Energy Rating aspirations and needs.

Joint MD, David Offland said: “Based on our experience, we can provide independent advice on the right glass product to achieve their requirements in the most cost effective way.”

Angela was instrumental in developing the launch of Planibel A with AGC. By working with glass manufacturers, component manufacturers and systems houses, she will tabulate the performance of all the major low-e glasses, with and without warm edge spacer, low iron glass and gas fill across a variety of frame types to fulfil a given WER rating or U-value specification.
