New online pricing and ordering system
23rd September 2014

Trade counter Truemans Windows have rolled out a new online ordering system and its popularity is already skyrocketing.

Since the system went live, in August, over 250 customers have requested unique login details, by getting in touch with their local Truemans branch. The trade counter stirred up anticipation for the new service on the social media platform Twitter, with very positive feedback from customers.

The majority of users were most impressed with the speed and accuracy of the ordering process. The tool enables clients to price and order jobs instantly from a computer, laptop or tablet at any time, day or night.

Managing director of Truemans, Joe Trueman, said: “The system offers an unprecedented level of flexibility for our clients, enabling them to access and manage their orders in one place, at any time. We’ve had some great feedback and we’re delighted that customers are finding it so useful. It takes five minutes to place an order, and it can be done even during evenings and weekends – how convenient is that!

“Our teams are always on hand, to offer help and advice on how to make the most of the system. However, there hasn’t been much demand for their assistance, as the ordering process is very straight forward and intuitive.”

The next phase will bring the addition of more helpful features that will enable clients to send professional looking quotes to homeowners including fitting prices, and will allow them to view and print their own marketing material designed to help them win more sales.

Truemans are hard at work getting the additional engines up and running, which will enable clients to price up and order more products, such as bay windows, GRP composite doors, uPVC doors, French, Patio and Bi-folding doors, glass units and accessories.

The next engine lined up for launch will allow clients to order Solidor units in any configuration they want, 24/7. This will be rolled out within the next couple of months and the trade counter is already predicting its success thanks to the positive precedent established by the casement window engine.
