Italians enjoy a slice of blind-making excellence

ScreenLine integral blind fabricator Morley Glass and Glazing has hosted a two-day visit by the blind system manufacturer’s commercial director, plus four major Italian customers, who came to the UK on a fact finding mission.

With Morley Glass being the UK’s largest Screenline fabricator by a considerable margin, Alessandro Pellini of Pellini S.p.A. was keen to give some of Italy’s largest users of the system an insight into what lies behind the company’s success. This included Predari Vetri, Vetreria Cappelletti & Roleri and Vetreria Tacca.

Uni-Blinds® are one of the leading UK integral blinds brands, with a range of Venetian and pleated blind options including a cordless magnetic slider operated solution and state of the art motorised versions.

Hosted by MD Ian Short, the Italian delegation spent two days with Morley Glass at its 25,000 sq ft central Leeds factory and HQ exploring how they could implement some of the manufacturing processes and marketing approaches that have underpinned the company’s strong market position.

But it is not just Italian customers who are looking to Morley Glass for best practice – Ian Short has also been to Germany to share his expertise with customers there.
